Barb Palser Joins Internet Broadcasting As VP

Internet Broadcasting today named Barb Palser its new vice president of account management. Palser returns to IB from McGraw-Hill Broadcasting where she was the director of digital media for the company’s ABC affiliates.

In her new role at IB, Palser will leverage her extensive broadcasting industry background to help IB clients with their digital audience and revenue growth strategies. Palser is also accountable for client satisfaction including metrics and client scorecards.

“We are very excited to have Barb join our team,” said Jeff Kimball, COO of Internet Broadcasting. “Her years of experience as the person accountable for growing the digital business for local stations make her uniquely suited to lead IB’s client account management team — where we provide those same solutions for clients across the USA.”

Prior to her McGraw-Hill Broadcasting stint, Palser spent eight years in various key positions at IB including content director, training director and local managing editor. She also held the position of news editor at Poynter.org.

Palser is a columnist and feature writer for the American Journalism Review and holds a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication from Louisiana State University.
