Bush Will NOT Host Fox’s New ‘Top 30’ Show

Fox was busy today knocking down a story that it had selected the exiled Billy Bush to host its Top 30 newsmagazine, which is set to debut this fall. Bush has not been seen since losing his Today Show job last year after an audio tape of a bus ride he took with Trump emerged.

Fox has yet to name a host of its syndicated Top 30 newsmagazine, but it “absolutely, positively” will not be Billy Bush, according to Fox spokeswoman Erica Keane.

Bush has been in TV purgatory since being fired from his Today Show gig last year after a tape leaked in which he was heard laughing as then presidential candidate Donald Trump talked about “pussy” grabbing.

Earlier today, the DailyMail.com first reported that Bush had gotten the Top 30 job and the story was picked up elsewhere. Fox’s Keane has been busy since knocking it down.

Top 30 had a four-week test last summer last summer and it did well enough to earn a launch this fall. According to Keane, the show has been cleared in 80% of the U.S. homes.
