Carrie Hofmann Named KSHB News Director
Scripps Media’s NBC affiliate KSHB Kansas City, Mo. (DMA 31), has named Carrie Hofmann, its news director. Hofmann, an 18-year news veteran, replaces Peggy Phillip, who left the station last August to move to WPLG Miami.
Hofmann joins KSHB from WCNC Charlotte, N.C., where she has been assistant news director. Before joining WCNC she was an assistant news director at KMGH Denver.
In addition, she has held various news positions including executive producer, producer and assignment editor.
Hofmann is a graduate of Arizona State.
