CBS Sports Ups Two Communciations Execs

Jennifer Sabatelle promoted to VP of Communications and Gerard Caraccioli named executive director.

Jennifer Sabatelle today was named VP, communications for CBS Sports. In this role, Sabatelle will oversee all communications functions for CBS Sports. At the same time, Gerard Caraccioli was named Executive director, communications, CBS Sports. Both promotions are effective immediately.

Jen and Jerry both bring to CBS Sports an intuitive understanding of our business, and their performance has earned the respect of everyone within the organization.”

Sabatelle most recently was director, communications, CBS Sports, a position she has held since 2007. She joined the CBS Sports Communications Department in May 2002 as senior press representative. She began working at CBS Sports in May 2000 as coordinator of programming and marketing.

Caraccioli was most recently director, communications, CBS Sports, a position he has held since 2006.  A CBS veteran since 1997, he started with the department as a press representative for CBS Sports’ coverage of the 1998 Winter Olympics, and went on to become senior press representative, manager and most recently director of the department.
