Betty Ellen Berlamino, former GM of WPIX New York, will work the CBS’s eight CW affiliates three independent stations and one MyNetworkTV affiliate as well as the group’s digital properties.
CBS Stations Name Berlamino Sales Director
Betty Ellen Berlamino was named senior vice president and director of sales, CBS Television Stations, it was announced today by Peter Dunn, president, CBS Television Stations, and Jim Sullivan, president of sales for the group.
In this newly created position, Berlamino will report to Sullivan and focus primarily on working with the group’s eight affiliates of The CW, three independent stations and one MyNetworkTV affiliate to drive revenue growth. She will also collaborate with other CBS Local Media properties, including CBS Radio stations and the company’s combined local TV and radio digital properties as well as EcoMedia, CBS Corp.’s environmental media unit.
Berlamino joins the CBS Television Stations group after having spent 17 years with WPIX, the New York affiliate of The CW, most recently as the station’s president-GM from December 2000 to June 2010.

Prior to being named president-GM of WPIX in December 2000, Berlamino was VP-station manager, beginning in October 1998. She joined WPIX as general sales manager in October 1993. Before that, she was the local sales manager of KTLA Los Angeles for six years. She began her career as a sales assistant and then an account executive at KCOP Los Angeles.
Berlamino graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in journalism.
