Cozi TV Names Antonio Fargas Brand Ambassador

Cozi TV has chosen actor Antonio Fargas as its new brand ambassador.

Since the 1960s, Fargas has captured the attention of audiences with his performances on stage, television and film. He is perhaps most well-known for the seminal role of “Huggy Bear” on the iconic buddy cop series Starsky & Hutch, which airs weekdays at 1 p.m. and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Cozi TV.

“We are thrilled to have Antonio be part of the Cozi TV family,” said Diane Petzke, director of programming and promotion.  “He embodies both our programming and the warm, inviting and laid-back attitude of our network.”

The artist kicked off his relationship with Cozi TV on April 20 with the premiere of the first of three network identity spots featuring Fargas and his flashy, high-stepping swing band, The New Jump Blues. The musical promos feature soundtracks created exclusively for Cozi TV. The other two promos will premiere later in the year. In his new role as brand ambassador, Fargas will also host other projects for the network.
