Darrell Jennings Named GM Of KNSO Fresno

ZGS Communications on Tuesday appointed Darrell Jennings to lead its Telemundo affiliate KNSO Fresno, Calif. (DMA 55). Jennings has more than 15 years’ experience in broadcast media and has lived and worked in the Central Valley for nearly two decades.

As general manager of the station, Jennings will manage the day-to-day operations, working closely with the business community and local organizations to develop new partnerships and enhance existing relationships.

“Darrell brings a wealth of business and management experience, as well as a proven track record in both English and Spanish-language media to Telemundo Fresno and our company,” said Julissa Marenco, president, ZGS Station Group. “His energy and extensive knowledge of the market will take the station to the next level. We are pleased to add him to our leadership team.”

Jennings most recently was the local sales manager for KMPH, KFRE, This Network and Estrella TV in Fresno. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Univision Television Group where he held various positions including local sales manager. Jennings started his media career at Normart Advertising Inc., a Fresno ad agency.
