Diane Cho Joins WCVB Boston As Reporter

Diane Cho will join Hearst-owned ABC affiliate WCVB Boston (DMA 8), as a general assignment reporter beginning Monday, July 11. Cho joins WCVB from WJLA Washington.

While working for WJLA, Cho covered a variety of high profile stories and contributed weekly to the station’s Government Matters program.

Prior to WJLA, Cho worked as a reporter and anchor at another Hearst Television station, KMBC Kansas City, where she spent three years covering a wide variety of stories including the devastating Joplin tornado. Cho also worked for a time as a reporter at WJXT Jacksonville, Fla.

Cho graduated from the University of Florida with a double major in broadcast journalism and political science. It was there she got her first taste in television news reporting for the college television station WUFT.

During college she also interned for Hearst Television’s WESH Orlando. Her first job after college was reporting for WRDW Augusta, Ga.
