FX Design Group Makes Two Key Promotions

FX Design Group announced two appointments to enhance the creative team in both scenic design and motion graphics.

Kevin Vickers, has been promoted to design director and Al Lagor to managing director of motion design.

Vickers has been at FX for 14 years and in that time, started as a graphic designer, working at KRON San Francisco, WESH Orlando, Fla., and KOCO Oklahoma City, and the senior designer at KJRH Tulsa, Okla. He attended Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota.

Al Lagor has 20 years of experience as a creative manager, and has been instrumental in developing, creating, maintaining and evolving identities for the news and sports broadcast industry. Lagor has a great sports background, having worked at the Golf Channel as senior director of graphic design. He also executive produced the entire motion graphics project for BYU-TV. He started his graphic career at WHDH Boston, and also worked for Walt Disney attractions.

Both are based in FX’s Ocoee, Fla., offices.
