Goldrick To Head News At NBC’s WRC

Michael Goldrick, the former news director of WPXI Pittsburgh will succeed Camille Edwards at the NBC-owned station in the nation’s capital.

NBC Owned Television Stations announced today that Michael Goldrick will join its WRC Washington (DMA 8) as vice president of news, beginning Nov. 26. He succeeds Camille Edwards, who left the station in August for WABC New York.

Goldrick has spent the last three years as news director of WPXI, the Cox-owned NBC affiliate in Pittsburgh.

Prior to his experience in Pittsburgh, Goldrick held news leadership roles at WHEC Rochester, N.Y.; KOMO Seattle; WSOC Charlotte, N.C.; and KPRC Houston. His career started at the assignment desk at WPTV West Palm Beach, Fla.; and he has also worked at WTSP Tampa, Fla.; and WDIV Detroit.

A native of Nutley, N.J., Goldrick graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in broadcast management.
