IB TV Clients Get New Cloud Platform
Internet Broadcasting, a provider of digital publishing technology and services, today announced it has completed the migration of its clients to its new ibPublish 2 Web content management system for local television broadcasters.
TV station sites of IB clients Bonten Media, Hearst Television, Morgan Murphy Media, PostÃ¢â‚¬ÂNewsweek Stations and others have migrated to the new platform.
IB said it invested more than $10 million and thousands of development hours to create the new platform, a cloudÃ¢â‚¬Âbased, architected solution. Designed for local TV stations, ibPublish 2 meets the specific needs of local media who must reliably deliver news and richÃ¢â‚¬Âmedia content with exceptional speed and scale.

The ibPublish 2 fatures include:
- Expanded content embedding, enabling publishers to embed videos, galleries and images in the body of articles using either the Web or Desktop Editor functions.
- Showcase Player Analytics, tracking video views in Google Analytics.
- A new hurricane section, featuring interactive, multiÃ¢â‚¬Âregion infrared satellite, visible satellite, and sea surface maps; forecasts and observations; storm models, potential storm tracks, and storm radii; radar and satellite views; severe weather and hurricane alerts; and automatically updated National Hurricane Center information on active Atlantic and Caribbean tropical depressions, storms and hurricanes – including speed, position and trajectory.
