Beat the Traffic, a provider of real-time traffic information for broadcasters and mobile devices, has adapted its Beat the Traffic three-dimensional mapping software used by television broadcasters for international use. The company will demonstrate its new mapping software, along with new, interactive maps featuring real-time traffic conditions in most major European.

Already used by 55 North American TV and media affiliates, Beat the Traffic’s animated 3D maps developed specifically for broadcasters use high-resolution topography and allow television news reporters to zoom in on specific road incidents, including delays, accidents and roadway construction. Along with average road speed information and travel times, broadcasters can use the maps to provide accurate, up-to-the-minute traffic forecasts for their viewers, as well as customize them for specific audiences.
