KAPP-KVEW’s Ettlin Nominated For GLAAD Award

A news report produced and reported by Galen Ettlin, an Anchor/Reporter/Producer at Morgan Murphy Media’s KAPP-KVEW in Yakima/Tri-Cities, Wash. (DMA 114), has been nominated for a national GLAAD Media Award in the “Outstanding TV Journalism Segment” category.

The nomination is for a report called The Abolitionists Face The Love Army.

“We’re very proud that Galen’s work has been recognized on a national level by GLAAD,” said Brian Paul Lubanski, the stations’ VP-GM. “It’s not only great for Galen, but also for our station and our community.”

The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community and the issues that affect our lives. The 29th annual GLAAD Media Awards will be presented in Los Angeles on April 11.
