Kori Chambers Joins WPIX Morning Anchor Desk

Tribune-owned CW affiliate WPIX New York (DMA 1) today announced the final anchor lineup for its PIX11 Morning News. Kori Chambers joins the station to anchor alongside Sukanya Krishnan weekday mornings from 6 to 9 a.m. beginning Oct. 7. 

The addition of Chambers, paired with Krishnan, completes the station’s anchor teams, complementing the previously announced 4-6 a.m. team of Marysol Castro and Dan Mannarino, and the 5 and 10 p.m. team of Scott Stanford and Tamsen Fadal.

Chambers joins WPIX from WFLD Chicago where he anchored Fox 32 News at Noon and Good Day Chicago weekdays. Prior to Chicago, Chambers was an anchor and reporter for WDIV Detroit and has worked for stations in Las Vegas and Springfield, Mass. Chambers made his first television appearance on a national stage as a fill in co-host on Live with Regis and Kelly.
