KTBC Austin Names Greg Kerr Morning Anchor

Greg Kerr returns to Fox O&O KTBC Austin, Tex. (DMA 47), as anchor on Fox 7 News in the Morning and Good Day Austin, starting Monday, July 16. He spent the early part of his television career at the station over two decades ago.

Most recently, Kerr has been a freelance anchor/reporter for Fox Sports Southwest in Dallas. Prior to that, he was sports director and news anchor for WFMY Greensboro, N.C., for nine years.

Earlier in his career, Kerr was sports anchor/reporter at KWTV Oklahoma City. He also was sports director/anchor at WICS Springfield, Ill. He began his career as the evening news anchor at KLST San Angelo, Tex., and then became weekend sports anchor/reporter at KTBC.

A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, Kerr holds a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism.
