KTVU News Adds Alyana Gomez On Weekends

Fox-owned KTVU San Francisco (DMA 6) has hired Alyana Gomez as a weekend anchor and reporter, Effective Oct. 10, she will anchor weekend evenings and report for various newscasts on KTVU and KTVUPlus throughout the week. 

Most recently, Gomez was a weekend morning anchor at WVIT Hartford, Conn., where she also led the launch of a consumer investigative reporter unit.

Previously, she worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WJAX Jacksonville, Fla. She began her career as an anchor, reporter and producer at WMDT Salisbury, Md.

A graduate of Salisbury University, Gomez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.
