KVOA Names Matt Brode Chief Meteorologist
Cordillera Communications’ NBC affiliate KVOA Tucson, Ariz. (DMA 70), has named Matt Brode its chief meteorologist. Brode has been working as the station’s consulting chief meteorologist since joining the station in May.
He came to KVOA from KOIN Portland, Ore. Brode began his broadcast career at KDLH Duluth, Minn., then joined WPBF West Palm Beach, Fla. Brode previously worked at KVOA as a morning and midday meteorologist from 2006 to 2010.
Brode holds dual degrees from the University of Arizona including a Bachelor of Arts in communications and a Bachelor of Science in atmospheric sciences.
