KWWL Adds Jason Carter To ‘Today In Iowa’
Quincy Newspapers-owned NBC affiliate KWWL Cedar Rapids, Iowa (DMA 89), has named Jason Carter co-anchor of its Today in Iowa, joining joined Natasha Chughtai and meteorologist Eileen Loan.
Carter has worked for television stations in the southeast as well as in Eastern Iowa for 10 years. He has covered Hurricane Katrina as it struck the Gulf Coast and the aftermath of the storm. Carter has been awarded and nominated for numerous EMMY and Associated Press Awards.
Before Carter entered morning news, he led the investigative team at his former station in Memphis.
