NBC Stations Ups Cozi’s McGinn, Kurtz

Meredith McGinn becomes SVP of diginet Cozi TV Network and LX.TV Productions, and Jeff Kurtz is now SVP of digital media and multicast sales for the station group.

The NBC Owned Television Stations division of NBCUniversal today promoted Meredith McGinn to senior vice president of Cozi TV Network and LX.TV Productions, and Jeff Kurtz was elevated to senior vice president of digital media and multicast sales, both from vice president.

McGinn joined the NBC Owned Television Stations division in October 2011, leading the development and launch of its classic TV diginet Cozi TV. Since the network’s official launch at the beginning of this year, Cozi TV is now available in 47.5 million homes or 42% of the United States, with nearly 40 affiliates.

McGinn’s role includes overseeing all creative, editorial and business aspects of Cozi TV as well as LX.TV, which produces weekly lifestyle programs, including George to the Rescue, 1st Look, Open House and Talk Stoop, that air on Cozi TV and on NBC stations across the country and are nationally and internationally syndicated.

Kurtz started with the NBC Owned Television Stations group in July 2012, overseeing all sales-related activities for Cozi TV, LX.TV Productions and the Digital Media and Digital Out-of-Home platforms, which include taxi cabs, gas stations and PATH trains. In his newly expanded role, Kurtz will also assume responsibilities for the digital advertising operations and sales fulfillment teams for the NBC Owned Television Station sites.
