Newsroom Grows By Two At KTBC Austin

Fox-owned KTBC Austin, Texas (DMA 40) has added two more reporters.

Elizabeth Saab will be a general assignment reporter, effective Aug. 27. She will report for the 5, 9 and 10 p.m. newscasts.

Most recently, Saab was reporter/anchor/producer for FoxNews.com. Prior to that, she was a digital content consultant for Hermedia Group in New York. She was also reporter/anchor/producer for News Corp.’s The Daily.

Earlier in her career, Saab was a news reporter/video journalist for FiOS1 News in Rye Brook, N.Y., and video photographer/field producer/desk researcher for NY1 News in New York.

She has also been a contributor for Huffington Post Live and The TV Guide Channel. A graduate of Hollins University, Saab holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and studio art.

Nick Spinetto will be a reporter for KTBC’s Good Day Austin. Effective Aug. 27, Spinetto will report for the weekday morning newscast. Most recently, Spinetto was a general assignment reporter for WMUR Manchester, N.H.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

Prior to that, he was a general assignment reporter at WINK  Fort Myers, Fla., for six years. Earlier, Spinetto was a reporter/anchor for WSHM Springfield, Mass.

He began his career as a reporter/anchor for KRHD Bryan, Texas. A graduate of Emerson College, Spinetto holds a Bachelor of Science in journalism.
