Patrick Paolini Named VP-GM Of WTTG-WDCA

The longtime Fox Television Stations exec will succeed Duffy Dyer as head of the Washington Fox-MNT duopoly.

Patrick Paolini today was named vice president and general manager of the Fox-owned Washington (DMA 8) duopoly of WTTG (Fox) and WDCA (MNT). He succeeds Duffy Dyer, who announced his retirement yesterday.

Most recently, Patrick was senior vice president of Fox Stations Sales.  Prior to that, he was VP-GM for the company’s WTXF Philadelphia, a position he held for two years.

Previously, he was VP and director of sales at WNYW-WWOR, the Fox owned-and-operated duopoly in New York.  His earlier FTS positions include six years as VP-general sales manager at WTTG-WDCA and one year in the same position at WTVT Tampa, Fla.

Before that, Paolini spent more than three years with LIN TV, first as national sales manager of WTNH Hartford-New Haven, Conn., and later as general sales manager of WIVB Buffalo, N.Y.

A graduate of Western Connecticut State University, Paolini holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing.
