Peter Keith Joins WAPT As Gen. Sales Mgr.
Hearst-owned ABC affiliate WAPT Jackson, Miss. (DMA 95), has hired Peter Keith as general sales manager, effective June 5.
Keith is returning to WAPT after spending the past two years at sister station WVTM Birmingham, Ala., where he was local sales manager. Before that, Keith was the national sales manager at WAPT from 2013 to 2015.
Before starting his career with Hearst, Keith spent eight years as an account executive in the Mobile, Ala.-Pensacola, Fla., market.
He is a graduate of Auburn University of Montgomery with a degree in marketing.
