Rahel Solomon Joins KYW News As Reporter

Rahel Solomon will join CBS-owned KYW Philadelphia (DMA 4) Eyewitness News team as a general assignment reporter on its Eyewitness News team beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Solomon comes home to Philadelphia from KCNC, the CBS-owned station in Denver where she has been a reporter and fill-in anchor since January 2014. She was recently named the Colorado Association of Black Journalists’ 2015 Broadcast Journalist of the Year. 

Previously, Solomon worked as a multimedia journalist for WSAZ Charleston, W.Va. She began her career at WCAU Philadelphia as a production assistant.

Solomon earned a master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She also attended St. John’s University where she graduated with high honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance.
