Raiza Iciarte Named WRMD News Director

ZGS Communications today named Raiza Iciarte news director of its Telemundo affiliate WRMD-CD Tampa, Fla. (DMA 11), effective immediately.

Iciarte began her career in her native Venezuela, before joining ZGS Communications. Within the ZGS television station group, she was the news producer for WRMD as well as WTMO Orlando, Fla.

She has also served as interim news director for both stations on various occasions.

“We are extremely excited to have Raiza lead Telenoticias Tampa,” said Jayme Ribeiro Neto, WRMD general manager. “She is focused on delivering news that is relevant and empowering to our Tampa Bay Hispanic community.”
