Reporter George Spencer To Join WCAU

NBC-owned WCAU Philadelphia (DMA 4) announced today that George Spencer will be joining the station as a reporter starting June 17. Spencer joins NBC10 from ABC affiliate WFTV Orlando, Fla., where he has been an anchor/reporter since 2008.

Before joining WFTV, Spencer worked for News 12 in the Bronx/Brooklyn, New York as an anchor/reporter.

Spencer is a native of San Antonio, Texas. He majored in politics at Princeton University and was an editor of the Daily Princetonian. He attended Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and worked as a news assistant at New York 1 News during his studies.
