Rosy Zugasti Joins KDEN Denver News

Telemundo-owned KDEN Denver (DMA 17) today hired Rosy Zugasti as a multimedia journalist for Noticiero Telemundo Denver, which airs weekdays at 4:30, 5 and 10 p.m.

Zugasti, who will make her on-air debut on Jan. 19, joins news anchors Pamela Padilla and Guillermo Martínez, weather anchor Ariel Rivera Vázquez, and sports anchor Carlos Rausseo.

Zugasti joins KDEN from KINT El Paso, Texas, where she has been a multimedia journalist, fill-in news and weather anchor and producer since 2011.

Prior to this, Zugasti worked at XEPM Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, from 2008 to 2011. She has also worked as a news anchor and reporter for Mexican TV stations in Cablenoticias and Epicentro Noticias.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Texas.
