Saga Communications 1Q TV Revenue Flat

Saga Communications Inc. today reported results for the quarter ended March 31 that included television net operating revenue of $4.498 million, which was nearly identical to the $4.495 million reported for the same quarter last year.

Saga owns or operates broadcast properties in 25 markets, including four full-power television stations and four low-power TV stations; 62 FM and 30 AM stations; three state radio networks; and two farm radio networks.

The company as a whole reported a 1.6% increase in net operating revenue to $29.4 million and a 17.3% drop in net income to $1.4 million ($0.42 per fully diluted share).
