The Nashville Network Adds KIVI Boisie

The Nashville Network diginet has signed an affiliation with Journal Broadcast Group’s ABC affiliate KIVI  Boise, Idaho (DMA 111).  KIVI now broadcasts TNN over-the-air on ch. 6.3 and it also appears on Cable One’s ch. 457.

Marie McGlynn, VP-GM Journal Broadcast Group-Idaho, says: “Boise loves its western roots and all things country.  Journal Broadcast Group-Idaho is very pleased to offer The Nashville Network to our viewers and advertisers. The addition of TNN to our lineup of KIVI (ABC), Fox 9, Untamed Sports and Live Well broadens our viewing options in the Boise television market.”

TNN, originally launched as a cable network featuring country music programming, returned as a broadcast television network last November. Programming comprises syndicated and first-run programming along with digitally restored content pulled from the vaults on Music Row.  The Nashville Network is a partnership between Jim Owens Entertainment and Luken Communications.
