TVUPack Integrates With JVC, Panasonic, Sony
TVU Network’s mobile cellular uplink solution is the first of its kind to integrate with all three major camera manufacturers.
On Wednesday, the company will announce its TVUPack Mini camera-mountable solution can now integrate with Panasonic, Sony and JVC professional cameras, allowing the user to monitor the status and quality of a cellular connection through the camera’s viewfinder.
The TVUPack Mini is now integrated with Panasonic’s AG-HPX600 series of cameras; Sony’s PMW/PDW XDCAM camcorders; and JVC’s GY-HM700 lineup.
TVU’s competitor LiveU also announced today that their cellular uplink solution is now integrated with Hitachi cams, in addition to Panasonic’s cameras, which started in February.
“TVUPack has worked closely with the major professional camera manufacturers to deliver fully-integrated solutions that fit without our customer’s workflows,” TVU CEO Paul Shen said in a statement. “TVU is dedicated to continually deliver innovations that help our customers deliver a stable transmission with professional-quality picture from any location while using any camera or portable mobile device.”
