VUit Taps Chris Brooks For EVP Of Programming/Business Development

VUit, launched in September by Syncbak as a new free, ad-supported national streaming service aiming to be the “Netflix of Live, Local, and Free,” has appointed TV veteran Chris Brooks as Executive vice president of programming and business development. He will report directly to Jack Perry, Syncbak founder-CEO.

At VUit, Brooks will initially focus on expanding VUit’s content library with a focus on building out the platform’s hyper-local, affiliate driven content, as well as VUit’s originals. He will also collaborate with the UX team to maximize discovery and advertising opportunities as well as construct the VUit content product road map.
