WADL Detroit To Launch Antenna TV

The network of classic TV shows and movies will debut on ch. 38.2 beginning Oct. 1.

Adell Broadcasting’s independent WADL Detroit is preparing to launch Antenna TV on a subchannel on Oct. 1.

Kevin Adell, the station’s CEO-owner, who also owns African-American targeted, religious programmed The Word Network, said: “We have looked at many programming options for our dot .2, but Antenna TV was by far the best fit with its quality classic programming lineup, expansive national distribution with Tribune stations and will have the longevity over fledgling networks.”

As WADL grows and transitions to newer programs on its main channel, such as It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Dog The Bounty Hunter, Cash Cab among others, it will continue to provide classic TV programming through Antenna TV.

Antenna TV’s lineup includes The Flying Nun, The Monkees, The Partridge Family, All In The Family and mixes these classic oldies with newer programs including Maude and Soap, In addition, Antenna TV offers a variety of movies to complement its classic TV lineup.

Antenna TV will be available over the air on ch. 38.2 and on ch. 295 on Comcast Cable.
