WDIO-WIRT Launch Me-TV In Minnesota

Hubbard Broadcasting’s ABC affiliates WDIO Duluth, Minn. (DMA 139), and its satellite WIRT Hibbing, Minn., are adding multicast network Me-TV (Memorable Entertainment Television) beginning Nov.

The new programming will air on ch. 10.2 in Duluth and 13.2 in Hibbing. Me-TV has now surpassed the 60% national clearance mark.

“Adding Me-TV was an easy choice for us,” said David Poirier, director of programming at WDIO-WIRT. “Me-TV’s library of TV classics allows us to provide our viewers with many more of the most beloved and enjoyed shows ever on television.”

Me-TV’s library includes series from Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, CBS Television Distribution, NBCUniversal Television as well as independent series owners and producers. Me-TV, memorable entertainment television, launched nationally in December 2010 and is owned and operated by Weigel Broadcasting Co. and distributed by MGM Television.
