DMA 5: DALLAS

WFAA Adds To, Revamps Digital Media Team

Tegna’a ABC affiliate WFAA Dallas (DMA 5) has hired Jeff Anastasio as director of digital editorial content. Previously, he was director of multimedia innovation at Tegna-owned KENS San Antonio, Texas, where he worked for over a decade. Anastasio also has experience in news, promotion and design. In his new role at WFAA, he will focus on news and editorial content.

Doug Boehner, an 18-year employee at WFAA, moves from digital operations manager to director of digital creative content. He will continue to supervise the station’s digital content management system as well as direct original digital content creation for WFAA’s web, mobile and social media platforms.

Both Anastasio and Boehner will report to Jim Glass, WFAA director of creative services and digital media, and begin their new assignments in March.
