WFLD Names Miller Weekend Sports Anchor

Dionne Miller joins Fox Chicago O&O WFLD’s sports team. Miller will be the station’s weekend sports anchor on Fox Chicago News at 9 on Friday and Saturday evenings. She will also contribute to Sunday’s The Final Word with Lou Canellis, a 30-minute local sports program, as well as serve as a sports reporter for various weekday newscasts.

Most recently, Miller was a reporter for Fox Sports Ohio and the Big Ten Network. While at Fox Sports Ohio, she hosted Cavaliers Live, the pre- and post-game show for the Cleveland Cavaliers and weekly magazine show, Cavaliers in the Paint.

Miller has also served as a reporter for the Big Ten Network, specifically working as a sideline reporter for live college football games. Earlier in her career, she was a reporter for WBNS Columbus, Ohio. Miller has also held sports reporter/anchor positions with Columbus (Ohio) Sports Network; WWSB Sarasota Fla.; XETV Tijuana, Mexico (San Diego); WPTZ Burlington, Vt.; and KSVI Billings, Mont.

A graduate of Houghton College, Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism and english literature, with a minor in communication.
