Meghan Packer will host the new weekday half-hour on Gannett’s CBS affiliate in Greensboro, N.C.

WFMY Expands Morning News To 4:30
Gannett-owned CBS affiliate WFMY Greensboro, N.C. (DMA 46), has expanded its morning news program, The Good Morning Show, by a half hour; it now begins at 4:30 a.m. and runs until 8 each weekday.
“This commitment is part of our News 2.0 effort to deliver what viewers want, when they want it,” said WFMY President-GM Larry Audas.
This new half-hour is anchored by Meghan Packer who has been a fixture on WFMY’s evening newscasts. Ed Matthews is in the Weather Garden.
Anchors Rosemary Plybon and Tracey McCain will be ready for their usual 5 o’clock start on The Good Morning Show.
The all new CBS This Morning follows at 8 a.m. beginning Monday, Jan. 9.
