WFTV Orlando Launching MegaTV

The Spanish-language diginet will be broadcast on the Orlando ABC affiliate’s ch. 9.2 beginning Jan. 28.

MegaTV, a Spanish-language diginet owned and operated by Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) has signed an agreement on Tuesday with Cox Media Group’s ABC affiliate WFTV Orlando, Fla. (DMA 19), to carry it beginning Jan. 28.

MegaTV will be available over the air on WFTV’s ch. 9.2 as well as on digital cable via BrightHouse ch. 469, Comcast ch. 209, Century Link ch. 10, Cox Cable ch. 118 and Decca Cable ch. 717 as well as DirecTV and ATT U-verse.  

The Orlando television market is the 17th largest U.S. Hispanic DMA, according to Nielsen.
