WFTX Welcomes Back Anchor Amy Wegmann
Journal Broadcast Group’s Fox affiliate WFTX Fort Myers, Fla. (DMA 62), has hired anchor and reporter Amy Wegmann who will co-anchor Fox 4 Rising alongside Miriam Zamorano.
The 10-year WFTX veteran previously has served as, weekend anchor, Fox 4 Rising co-anchor, main news anchor alongside Patrick Nolan, and most recently has filled in as freelance host on Fox 4 Morning Blend.
Wegmann will officially return to the station on July 2 and will settle in to the co-anchor position the week of July 7.
