With KRBK, Rentrak Wraps Up Springfield, Mo.

Multi-screen media measurement firm Rentrak Corp. today announced that Koplar Communications has signed on to Rentrak’s StationView Essentials for its Fox affiliate KRBK Springfield, Mo. (DMA 75).

The KRBK deal means that every network affiliate in Springfield has adopted Rentrak’s audience information as a primary sales and marketing currency.

“As the new Fox affiliate in the Springfield DMA, Rentrak gives Koplar Communications incredibly detailed information that allows us to quantify the value of our audience to potential advertisers,” said Paul Windisch, KRBK general manager. “It also gives us continuous feedback throughout the year, allowing our team to make the most of our promotions and community involvement initiatives. Rentrak provides daily measurement of all TV networks in all 210 U.S. media markets The service incorporates data from more than 19 million satellite, telco and cable television sets and integrates it with product consumption information.
