WMOR Tampa To Air Buccaneers-Vikings Game

Hearst-owned independent WMOR Tampa, Fla. (DMA 14), announced today that it has secured local broadcast rights to air NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, Oct. 25.

This Buccaneers-Vikings game at 8 p.m. will be a local broadcast of the game airing on NFL Network and will be called by the NFL announcing team of play-by-play announcer Brad Nessler and game analyst Mike Mayock. NFL Network’s Alex Flanagan provides reports from the sidelines.

“We are excited to be the station selected by The NFL Network to carry this season’s Buccaneers-Vikings game,” said MOR President-GM Ken Lucas.

In support of the game, WMOR is planning several major promotions, including a flyaway for two fans to attend the game itself in Minnesota and several major viewing parties at various locations around the market, including a surprise location that will be named later.
