WNJU Adds Cristina Navarrete To News Team
Telemundo-owned WNJU New York (DMA 1) today named Cristina Navarrete a general assignment reporter.
Navarrete joins WNJU following more than two years at WYTU and WDJT, both Milwaukee. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Navarrete has worked as a reporter, producer and fill-in anchor for both stations. She has also served as a reporter with SoiTV and with Radio Cosmos-Universidad Autonoma de Mexico.
Navarrete earned a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University where she majored in communications and journalism. She also studied in Madrid at Universidad Complutense.
