WNJU Adds Weather Anchor Miguel Bedoy

Further growing its bilingual meteorologist team, Telemundo’s WNJU New York (DMA 1) on Tuesday added weather anchor Miguel Bedoy to the station’s La Autoridad en el Tiempo (Weather Authority) team. Bedoy will serve as the new weekend weather anchor for Noticiero Telemundo 47 Fin de Semana at 5:30 and 11 p.m. and also support the station’s weekday newscasts. His on-air debut will be Saturday, April 23.

With nearly 10 years of experience, Bedoy joins Telemundo’s East Coast flagship station after having worked as a weather anchor and reporter for TV stations in Texas and Colorado. Most recently, he was a weather anchor for KXLN Houston.

Born in Guadalajara and raised in Corralillos, Mexico, Bedoy received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Houston.
