WRAL Ups Renee Chou To Morning News Anchor

Capitol Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate WRAL Raleigh-Durham, N.C. (DMA 24), has promoted reporter Renee Chou to co-anchor on the Morning News after filling in for the last six weeks. Chou officially joins 30-year WRAL veteran anchor Bill Leslie, meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner and traffic reporter Brian Shrader.

Chou joined WRAL as a reporter in 2004 and then moved to the weekend anchor desk. She’s covered everything from presidential elections, to N.C. military, to hurricanes and tornadoes. She’s known for her compassionate, people-focused reporting.

Renee will anchor the mornings from 4:30 to 7 on WRAL and the 8-9 hour on co-owned Fox affil WRAZ with Michelle Marsh.
