WRC Washington Adds Anchor Richard Jordan

NBC-owned WRC Washington (DMA 8) today named Richard Jordan weekend anchor. He joins the station from WSVN Miami where he spent four years reporting in his hometown.

The son of Cuban immigrants, Jordan has covered many stories about immigration and issues of importance to the Hispanic community during his career, which began in El Paso, Texas. While there, he routinely crossed the Mexican border to report on unprotected border zones, the violent drug trade and cases of abduction and human smuggling.

Jordan is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. His first day is today, March 19.
