KTDO El Paso Launches Daily OTT Newscast

Starting today Telemundo-owned KTDO El Paso, Texas is offering a 10-minute daily digital newscast.  El Break De Telemundo El Paso is accessible on Roku, Apple TV, online at Telemundo48ElPaso.com and through the station’s app.

Hosted by news anchor Ivette Sánchez, El Break delivers local news, weather updates, exclusive content in what the station calls “a more relaxed format to help OTT audiences stay in the know while on the go.”

Alejandro Pariente, KTDO news director, said: “Through our new digicast we can serve our growing OTT audience with a program that gives them the information they need to stay informed through the platforms they are already consuming content in. We are excited to present this new news program to better serve our audiences.”

Sánchez joined KTDO in 2012 as a multimedia journalist after working as a reporter for Televisa Juárez. Sánchez, now a news anchor, has covered important stories and events including the August 3rd shooting, Pope Francis visit to Ciudad Juárez, Mexico and the first migrant caravan to the border region. She is a four-time Lone Star EMMY award-winning journalist.
