Me-TV Adds WPTV West Palm Beach

The classic TV diginet now is cleared in 91% of the U.S. with 160 affiliates.

Me-TV, Memorable Entertainment Television, has signed an affiliation agreement with WPTV West Palm Beach, Fla. (DMA 38), an NBC affiliate owned by E.W. Scripps Co. The classic television network will launch on April 21, 2014 and be seen over the air on ch. 5.2 and on Comcast ch. 216.

“This is the ideal market for classic television and we are confident that these shows will be well received by the audience and our advertisers,” said Steve Wasserman, VP-GM of WPTV.

“We’re pleased to add another large broadcast market to our Me-TV affiliate family,” said Maura Cope, VP, Me-TV Network. “E.W. Scripps will be a strong affiliate partner and we’re excited to bring Me-TV to their viewers.”

Me-TV has 160 affiliates and 91% clearance in the United States. It be found in 28 of the top 30 U.S. markets on cable and satellite. Several major media groups that have Me-TV affiliates include: Hearst, Gannett, Raycom, Sinclair, Media General, News-Press & Gazette Company, Nexstar, Allbritton, Hubbard, Cordillera, Bahakel, Cox, Morgan Murphy, Grant, New Age, Granite, Dispatch, Journal, Titan and CBS Television Station Group.
