Angela Poe Russell Joins KING’s ‘Evening’

Tegna NBC affiliate KING Seattle (DMA 13) has moved its Take 5 host and reporter Angela Poe Russell to Evening, the station’s original lifestyle and entertainment show that’s been celebrating the Pacific Northwest for more than 30 years.

On March 2, Russell joins Saint Bryan, Jim Dever and Kim Holcomb as the show’s fourth host.

Russell brings her experience to a team of hosts and producers with decades of combined storytelling experience. Her journalism has brought her numerous awards, including a 2019 Gracie Award from the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation.

Take 5 will transition on March 2 to KING 5 News at 4 p.m., anchored by Greg Copeland and Jessica Janner Castro.
