Parella Lewis New WYFF Greenville Weekday Weather Anchor

Hearst Television’s NBC affiliate WYFF Greenville, S.C. (DMA 38), announced today that beginning next week Parella Lewis will anchor weather weekday mornings on WYFF News 4 Today, joining Geoff Hart and Amanda Crawford. The news follows Dale Gilbert’s announcement that he plans to scale back his schedule.

“Parella joined WYFF 4 last fall and has made significant contributions to the team on Saturday and Sunday mornings,” said WYFF President-GM John Humphries. “We recognize that getting an accurate forecast in the morning is important to our viewers, and we’re confident Parella will carry on WYFF 4’s tradition of excellence.”

Before Lewis joined WYFF, she spent 12 years forecasting weather in Seattle. She also spent time in Indianapolis where she provided wall-to-wall coverage of the historic tornado outbreak during the 88th running of the Indy 500.
