Samantha Gannon To Join KDFW Sports Team

Fox-owned KDFW Dallas (DMA 5) has hired Samantha Gannon.

Beginning in mid-March, she will report, co-host and produce on Free4All, the station’s live, weeknight 10:30 p.m. program, alongside Mike Doocy. The program presents sports, news, opinions and personalities, featuring debates, guests and viewer feedback.

Most recently, Gannon was a weekend sports anchor and reporter for KOKH Oklahoma City and before that at KPLC Lake Charles, La.

Prior to that, she held the positions of video journalist, sports producer and news editor for NBC’s WVIT Hartford, Conn.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Gannon holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and English.
