Allen Media Group’s This TV Adds ABC O&Os

The diginet is now carried on eight ABC-owned station subchannels in major markets Including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

Allen Media Group’s multicast network This TV has expanded its distribution to eight major market ABC-owned television station subchannels as of April 1. Allen Media Group purchased This TV from MGM in October 2020.

This TV broadcasts 24 hours a day and is now available in approximately 86 million U.S. households via over-the-air, cable, and online platforms. A free network, This TV brings original programming, movies, comedy, box office hits, cult classics, retro television series, documentaries and event specials.

The eight ABC-owned television markets that now carry This TV are: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Fresno, Calif., and Raleigh-Durham, N.C. These eight television markets represent approximately 27 million U.S. television households.

Byron Allen must be really happy Scripps decided not to renew the Laff deal with ABC. Their loss is his gain, apparently.
