Calandria Meadows Named Digital VP Of Katz Diginets

Social media veteran Calandria Meadows has been named to the newly-created position of vice president, social media and digital content for Katz Broadcasting’s multicast networks Grit, Escape and Laff as well as Bounce TV.

In this role, Meadows will oversee the strategic social media presence and digital initiatives of the diginets. Meadows is based in Atlanta and reports to Yvonne Haugh, Bounce TV & Katz Broadcasting SVP of marketing.

Meadows comes to Bounce TV and Katz Broadcasting from Turner Broadcasting System where she spent eight years in ascending positions. She most recently lead social program development for the Turner Entertainment Networks TNT, TBS and TCM, including all Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram and Pinterest marketing efforts. Meadows oversaw the re-launch of TBS and TCM social programs, both of which were very successful and drove tremendous growth in followers, reach and engagement.

During her Turner career, she developed and executed sponsor and partner integrations for social initiative, conducted social media training for network talent and internal staff and created comprehensive digital and social analytics programs.

Before joining Turner, Meadows worked for The New York Times for several years where her responsibilities included optimizing cost effectiveness of existing marketing channels and identifying new marketing and partnership opportunities. She also previously worked at Time Inc., Washington, D.C. Marketing Center, and Easter Seals.

Meadows is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications, and New York University’s M.S. in integrated marketing program.
